A line drawing of the warrior, Lapu Lapu. He is holding his sword and shield, looking off to the side, and the Philippine sun is behind his head.

Beyond the work, Romeo is known for his easygoing energy, sharp sense of humour, and a deep belief that kindness and compassion always come first. This drawing titled, "Lapu Lapu” was created following the tragic event at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival in Vancouver, BC.

When asked about this piece, Romeo says, “My drawing of Lapu Lapu represents the fierce courage and strength it takes to protect our culture and people. He symbolizes Filipino pride, resilience, and that undeniable bad-ass energy rooted in our history. Inspired by both our ancestors' resistance during colonization and the recent tragedy during the Lapu Lapu Day festival, this piece is a reminder of the bravery we carry in our blood—and the power of never backing down.”
